Tomorrow, the bodies of 20 Malaysian nationals will arrive back on home soil to be received with full honour in Malaysia’s National Day of Mourning.

The 20 are among the 43 Malaysians on the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which was shot down by pro-Russian separatists over east Ukraine during a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur on July 17. In total, 298 people lost their lives in the tragedy.

Let us mourn the loss of our fallen compatriots and the victims of Flight MH 17. Let us join hands in showing support to their families and friends. Let us find strength and courage in one another.

Malaysia mourns once more.

Truly a sad day tomorrow will be.
